Academic presents his photographs in the exhibition “La Piel del Valle”

The exhibition will be open to the public throughout the month of June, in the exhibition hall of the Chilean North American Institute.  

In order to share with the community his perspective regarding the passage of time, the academic of the Design degree at the University of La Serena, José Manuel Aguayo, graphic designer and Master in Education from the University of Alcalá, inaugurated the photographic exhibition " La Piel del Valle”, at the Chilean North American Institute of La Serena.

As its author pointed out, “the theme of the exhibition revolves around the vision of the passage of time in the constructions in the valley and how objects transcend time in action of use on the one hand, and color on the other. at its maximum expression and its contrasts between the different materials.” In this context, each of the works is named according to the relationship of affection they have with the author.

The opening of the exhibition was attended by authorities from the Chilean North American Institute, headed by its director Ruth Mc Bride, academics from the ULS, friends and colleagues of the exhibitor who, in a pleasant atmosphere, were able to enjoy chamber music and appreciate each of the works. . 

Subsequently, and as part of the activities in the region, the United States ambassador, Michael Hammer, and his wife visited the exhibition. 

For those interested, “La Piel del Valle” will be open to the public throughout the month of June, in the exhibition hall of the Chilean North American Institute in the city of La Serena, located on Avenida Estadio 1651, a few steps from Huanhualí.
