USerena is the state university best evaluated in terms of active transparency

The institution obtained 99,2% compliance after the inspection carried out by the Council for Transparency in 2023.

With an outstanding first place among the 18 state universities in the country, the U. of La Serena was placed after the inspection of compliance with the obligations of active transparency and access to information of higher education institutions, carried out by the Council of Transparency in 2023, where the ULS obtained 99,2% compliance.

In the evaluation of the requirement for access to information, the Council for Transparency indicated that: "No infractions and/or non-compliance with the regulations on the Right of Access to Information are detected at the agency's response level. The agency makes a statement regarding to everything requested."

The Rector, Dr. Luperfina Rojas, stressed that “this important achievement is thanks to the dedication and commitment of the officials with the delivery of the information required for the periodic update of the institutional site of active transparency and also in the sending of information to address information access requirements made by third parties.”

Likewise, the authority reaffirmed the institution's commitment to complying with the demands and obligations regarding transparency.
