Group of ULS officials and academics organizes Christmas Mass 2023

The traditional year-end activity brought together a significant number of attendees, who gathered in the rooms of the ULS Headquarters.

In order to gather around a Christmas Eucharist, a group of officials and academics from different faculties of the University organized the traditional end-of-year liturgical activity that seeks to close to 2023.

On the occasion, university authorities, directors, academics, officials and students of the University of La Serena participated in the traditional Christmas Mass, which in turn is part of the solidarity campaign, which gathered non-perishable food to contribute to the parish. San Juan Evangelista from the Las Compañías sector, who delivers them to needy families in the area and which is part of the solidarity work he carries out during the year.

This liturgical act, which commemorates the end of the year, was presided over by the Priest of the Parish of Lourdes, Emilio Robledo.

The activity began at 10:00 in the morning in the Hall of the Central House and had the support of academic and non-academic officials, who enthusiastically sang the Christmas carols prepared by the choir that accompanied the celebration.

During the ceremony, the proceeds from the collection were delivered to the priest Robledo, who will deliver the donation to the parish he represents.
