In this regard, the director of the Department of Education, Mg. Bernardo Jopia, pointed out that this instance will allow the use of learning strategies focused on the development of skills in the use of technological resources that will directly benefit the academic work that the unit develops.

At the same time, the director explained that this type of activities is limited to the Department's interest in increasing the development of research in education, in terms of the incorporation of new technologies to academic work, with emphasis on the use of the resources that the University, through its Central Library, it has provisions for this.

The workshops are held during the month of June, on Wednesdays from 15:30 p.m. to 17:30 p.m., in the Basic General Education Computer Laboratory, and are taught by the head of the Library and specialist in systems analysis, Héctor Garcia Leal.
