Teachers are invited to a webinar on the use of digital tools and science education

The Spring Workshops, free of charge, begin on October 23 with “Microbial and Viral Biodiversity.”

As an instance of professional development and that proposes the use of some digital tools and collaborative work to address the curricular contents prioritized by the Ministry of Education, the webinar has been defined: “The teaching of Molecular, Cellular and Microbiological Biology in education in sciences”, a space organized by academics from the Department of Biology and the Pedagogy in Biology and Cs degree. The Spring Workshops, aimed mainly at Biology and Natural Sciences teachers in service in the Coquimbo Region, will be held virtually (Zoom), starting on October 23 with “Microbial and Viral Biodiversity” (Registration here). It will continue on October 30 with the workshop “Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology for teaching Biology” (Registration here), and will end on November 06 with the workshop “Cellular Division teaching sequences supported with ICT” (Registration here). Each activity will begin at 16:00 p.m. and will conclude at 19:00 p.m.

At the end of the workshop, a certificate of participation will be given as support to each of the teachers.
