They invite a webinar on the use of emerging technologies to support school learning

The initiative of LIITEC ULS and the Science and Teaching Research Group is aimed at all audiences and will be developed via the YouTube channel Linking with the ULS Environment.

A free invitation is being made by the Science and Teaching Research Group in conjunction with the Laboratory of Research and Technological Innovation for Science Education, LIITEC ULS, to participate in the webinar “Use of emerging technologies to support school learning”, which will be given by the ULS academic and Executive Director of the Laboratory, Francisco López, on Thursday, September 10 at 18:00 p.m.

This activity will propose some technological tools so that everyone can learn science from home. To do this, experiences will be shared that facilitate learning support and family involvement in these new teaching and learning contexts. This was highlighted by the main rapporteur, Francisco López, highlighting that “technological alternatives for recreational purposes in general and educational purposes in particular” will be presented. "Practical work is considered that allows attendees to use, evaluate and select some emerging technologies (virtual reality and particularly augmented reality) to support learning and to increase the degree of appropriation of new technologies by adults."

In addition, he announced that the activity will emphasize knowledge of science and the flora and fauna of Chile.

The initiative will be broadcast on the institutional YouTube channel Linkage with the ULS Environment, and participants require an internet connection, and ideally have a mobile device to carry out practical activities (smartphone, tablet).
