ULS astronomers explain the impact of the first image captured of a black hole

On the morning of this Wednesday, April 10, the first real image of a black hole was revealed for the first time in history, thanks to the global collaborative work of the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT).

Astronomers from the University of La Serena, Dr. Sergio Torres Flores and Dr. Guillermo Damke, spoke with various national and local media about the impact and scope of this historic discovery, disseminated in simultaneous press conferences throughout the world.
