The audiovisual material was delivered to the Rector of the state campus, Dr. Nibaldo Avilés.

The Municipality of La Serena, through financial funds awarded by the former Culture Council, materialized a project that allows blind and deaf people to enjoy the products of the film industry.

At the Santa Inés Cultural Center, the presentation and delivery of the "Inclusive Documentaries for all. Quilapayún Collection, beyond the Song; La Once and María Elena" was held, an activity attended by the mayor of the regional capital, Roberto Jacob; the Rector of the University of La Serena, Dr. Nibaldo Avilés; Councilor Robinson Hernández, and about thirty people, who were able to witness the film “La Once”.

The way in which these works are perceived are as follows: for people who lack the sense of sight, the dialogues occur normally, but a voice-over explains what happened while the actors are not speaking; Likewise, it introduces the scenes and locations.

Meanwhile, for those who do not have the sense of hearing, the film is accompanied by subtitles where the speeches are made known, in addition to the fact that there is a person in the room who recounts the action using sign language.

On the occasion, a dossier with “La Once” and the other two audiovisual works, a film and a documentary, were also delivered to the Luis Braille school. The same thing happened with the University of La Serena, who will promote them among pedagogies to work on the issue of inclusion.
