General objectives:

1 Develop in the graduates a solid formation in the fundamental areas of Physics.

2 Develop in the graduates a specialized training in some of the lines of research, which are:

  • Particle Physics
  • Cosmology and Gravitation
  • Complex Systems
  • Condensed Matter

3 Promote the development of Physical Sciences in the Macro North Zone of the Country.

Specific objectives:

1 Train graduates with a high level of knowledge that enables them to carry out teaching, research and dissemination in their specialty.

2 Strengthen the research lines defined in the program, with the participation of
graduates in the generation, development of projects and scientific publications.

3 Give continuity to the scientific training of undergraduate students in Physics and / or
related careers.


Curriculum: The curriculum is two years long, organized in semesters.


Duration: 4 academic semesters, 18 weeks per semester, in 2 years.
