The University of La Serena Student Welfare team has been carrying out a series of talks in different schools in La Serena, Coquimbo, Ovalle and Los Vilos, as part of its social responsibility policy.

In the presentations, the team of the unit dependent on the DGAE has informed families and students about the application for State and internal benefits offered by the institution.

This is the case of the informative talk that took place at the Colegio Seminario Conciliar de La Serena, where around 70 people were present.

"To date we have held 10 informative talks, reaching more than 400 parents and students, and we have several more scheduled for the rest of the month," said the social worker and Student Wellness Coordinator, Patricia Astroza.

One of these presentations will take place in Ovalle next Wednesday, October 17, and will be aimed at counselors and social workers from high schools and colleges in the Province of Limarí. The activity will take place at the Limarí Campus of the University.
