The activities lasted for more than two weeks in the courses of Pedagogy in Basic Education, Pedagogy in Differential Education, Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education and Design.

The General Directorate of Student Affairs, through the professionals of the DGAE Saludable program, held the "Move for your Health" Workshop, at the four races of the Isabel Bongard Campus between October 23 and November 6. A total of 150 students from the aforementioned careers participated in the workshops, carried out by professionals from the Departments of Student Health and Physical Education and Sports of the DGAE.

fair dgae2In the workshop held for the Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education career, there was the special participation of children, an educator and nutritionist from the Kindergarten of the University of La Serena, who explained to the students how they develop healthy lifestyle habits in their activities. preschoolers.

The cycle of workshops ended with a Fair on November 7 in different areas of the Isabel Bongard Campus. Nutritional evaluation and guidance was carried out for the students, by the Student Health Department, with the support of JUNAEB nutritionists.

In turn, the Department of Physical Education and Sports organized table tennis sports activities, women's baby soccer home run between the Campus races and aerobox in the Multifield of the University Park. Parallel to the activities, the nutritionist and academic of the UCN, Mg. Edgardo Cortés, offered the students the conference "Why Educate in Healthy Eating?", which was broadcast via streaming through REUNA and Facebook Live.

Bernardo Jopia, the Director of the Department of Education, Dr. Erika Zúñiga; and the coordinators of the courses María Ester Álvarez (Pedagogy in Basic Education), Carlos Ramos (Pedagogy in Differential Education), Yanola González (Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education) and Carla López (Director of the School of Design); in addition to the collaboration of the Regional Directorate of JUNAEB Coquimbo , the Nutrition and Dietetics degree at the Universidad Católica del Norte, the Los Papayitos Kindergarten and the ULS Kindergarten.
