A sports day for preschoolers and parents, a caravan through the streets of La Serena where dozens of cars participated, and a party as a finishing touch, were the activities with which the little ones celebrated Nursery Week at the “Papayitos” Kindergarten. ”.

Felipe Pizarro, representative of “Papayitos”, highlighted the importance of this type of initiative that strengthens the ties between parents and children. “The idea of ​​being able to generate instances where the garden becomes a social meeting point for people, students and the university community, generates bonds and links that excite us as young parents to continue getting to know each other and adapting to a more pleasant environment” , highlighted the ULS designer.

Finally, Marisol Avilés, social worker at the Garden, valued the participation of parents during the week of celebrations. “Value the participation of the parents who were quite enthusiastic, they did sports activities in the garden, they supported their children, they involved the family and it was reflected in the caravan in which most of the parents who are students of our University, so the children were given a lot of joy in their week," he concluded.
