The meeting was held in the Raúl Bitrán Room where commitments were established to continue advancing the proposed institutional objectives.

In order to be aligned on the institutional challenges proposed by the authority, the directors of different units of the University of La Serena met with the Rector, Dr. Luperfina Rojas, and established commitments to carry out during the year 2024 in the management of university government.

At the meeting, the Rector shared the strategies that have already begun to be implemented since 2023 and that add new challenges, which go hand in hand with the idea of ​​increasing the years of accreditation, demonstrating high quality rates in their processes. .

In the presentation made by the first university authority, topics such as the 2023-2024 Institutional Development Plan, Educational Model, integrated vision of undergraduate and graduate, updating of undergraduate academic offerings, updating of postgraduate academic offerings, certification and accreditation of careers and programs, institutional accreditation, institutional modernization, quality of life and process of implementation of new statutes.

At the end of the meeting, all the managers agreed that it is imperative to start working on the guidelines in a coordinated manner and in accordance with what the strategic plan dictates, so new meetings in around the advances in the different areas provided.
