On this occasion, the Audit, Business Administration Engineering and Commercial Engineering majors from the Faculty of Social, Business and Legal Sciences of the university participated. During the event, they met with various employers in a working group of public and private organizations with the aim of facilitating dialogue around the perceptions they have of the University's professionals.

The activity was well received by attendees. Janett Slaibe, owner of the Terra Diaguita Boutique Hotel, expressed: "It is the first time I have participated and I am very satisfied with this meeting (...) we want our professionals to advance together with us. This is reciprocal, feedback, and obviously learning "What the University of La Serena does with students is extremely important, because the region needs professionals at the same level."

Leticia Cortés, assistant to the activity and director of control in the Municipality of Ovalle, commented: "I find it quite beneficial, because we, at least in the municipality, are a practice center that is constantly requiring students in practice, and above all of the races that invited us. Of course, we are interested in the professionals arriving more prepared every day.

On the other hand, Mg. Cristian Villegas, Director of the Audit School, emphasized the activity: "It is quite significant and important. I think it always marks milestones regarding this link that careers have, in particular, with the various sectors, especially employers, who are mainly the beneficiaries of our training process".

In this third Workshop, where group dynamics were carried out for each career, feedback was generated from the study networks and dialogue about the experiences of employers with career professionals in their workplaces, as well as what they expect. in the future of these. As Leticia Cortés emphasized, "many times, professionals are unaware of the functioning of the organization of the public apparatus and the regulatory framework that regulates us. It is important that they arrive prepared so that, when starting their professional practice, they know perfectly what they should do."

Jannet Slaibe added that "it is to grow together between students and businessmen to really train the professionals that we need, both us and them, who can feed us back with what the new generations who have new methods are learning, and that to us. It also helps us a lot.”

Finally, Natalia Cortés, Employability professional at the OSE, highlighted that "this meeting, framed in the Cycle of Workshops that we have been holding during this semester, has been an enriching event. As a University and at the career level, it has allowed us to learn about first-hand the perception that these key actors have about the ULS graduates in the performance of their work, which in the long run allows us to internalize their needs in the training programs.
