The ULS Editorial text was presented during the traditional event, which brought together writers and publishers from different communes of the Coquimbo Region.

During the second day of the “Book Boulevard” held in the Plaza de Armas of La Serena, the launch of the book “Emotional Processes” took place. Theoretical Models and Practices of Well-being”, by the author Pedro Bolgeri Escorza, academic of the Dept. of Psychology from the University of La Serena, clinical psychologist trained at the University of Chile and specialist in Experiential Humanistic Psychotherapy.

The launch of the book was held to conclude the second day of the Boulevard and included the intervention of the author, who shared details of the text.

One of the areas to highlight in the book by the ULS academic - who pointed out that it is a rigorous and informative scientific text - is that the main contemporary theories on human emotions are presented, in addition to a series of techniques and procedures being made known. that at the end of the day can help people to be better in current times.

Ignacio Herrera, in charge of the ULS Editorial, mentioned that “it was an excellent and profound conversation that allows us to recognize the control of emotions and fundamental mechanisms to face the troubled life of these dizzying times.”

It should be noted that the University Publishing House had its own stand on this La Serena Book Boulevard during the three days it took place, where there was a lot of participation and interaction from the public present.

Furthermore, it is important to note the participation of the ULS Publishing House in the 31st Book Fair held in the city of Valdivia, coordinated by Regional University Publishers (EDIUR). “For six days we have been able to make known, in this cultural and university space, what academics and researchers from our study center set out in the monographic publications under our care. This opens the possibility that some ULS degrees can be offered permanently in this city,” explained Ignacio Herrera.
