University of La Serena joins the Claro-Chile Language Network

The University of La Serena joins the Network as the second Higher Education Institution in the Country and the first in the state, so its participation is of great relevance.

With the objective of promoting, disseminating and facilitating the use of clear language in university and academic work, the University of La Serena was incorporated as an associate member of the Clear Language Network-Chile, an entity that will have as its representative the academic and Coordinator of the Law Degree attached to the Faculty of Social, Business and Legal Sciences, Mg. Christian Merino Alvarez.

The Clear Language Network is an entity that brings together, as Full Members, 7 public institutions and its objective is to work together in the implementation of actions aimed at generating initiatives, projects and measures that promote, disseminate and facilitate the use of clear language within the institutions.

Institutions such as the Judiciary, the Comptroller General of the Republic, the Chamber of Deputies, the Council for Transparency, the Library of the National Congress, the PUCV and the Ministry of the General Secretariat of the Presidency participate as Full Members of this Network. As for its Associate Members, the Public Ministry, the Public Criminal Defender's Office, the 1st Environmental Court, the 3rd Environmental Court, the Health Superintendence, the Valparaíso Judicial Assistance Corporation and the Public Procurement and Contracting Directorate participate.

Regarding participation, the academic representative of the University of La Serena, Mg, Christian Merino Álvarez, attended the first work meeting as an Associate Member of the Network, in which the good practices that the institutions have carried out were generally discussed. carried out on the matter and the work to be done was planned.

Finally, the Dean of the Faculty of Social, Business and Legal Sciences, Dr. Luperfina Rojas Escobar, thanked this invitation that allows both the Faculty and the institution itself to be present and promote clear communication that allows contributing to the creation of trust between citizens and the State.
