The academic from the Department of Music of the University of La Serena, Alejandro Meléndez, will carry out free online workshops on Interpretative Analysis and Gesture from Orchestra Conducting from next Tuesday, August 31 to Friday, September 10.

The purpose is to generate support in the delivery of technical and didactic tools for the training of directors of youth and children's Orchestras at the Regional and National level. Likewise, it seeks to promote the study of orchestral conducting, musical analysis and the basic notions of management in the area.

The academic's activity will be carried out through four workshops, including Gestures in Orchestra Conducting, Management in Youth Orchestra Training, Interpretative Analysis in Orchestra Conducting and, finally, Gestures and analysis in orchestra conducting.
