Professionals from the Center for Educational Informatics participate in the Conference of the Network of Coordinators of Communal Links

The objective of the activity was to strengthen and empower those in charge of educational computing at the establishments, through collaboration and good practices with ICT. 

The Educational Informatics Center of the University of La Serena (CIE), in its role of linking with the school environment, participated in the first Conference of Liaison Coordinators, held at the Ministerial Secretariat of Education in the Coquimbo Region.

The purpose of the day was to strengthen and empower those in charge of educational computing at establishments, through collaboration and good practices with ICT. 

The regional coordinator of Enlaces, Soledad Castillo, explained the main milestones of educational computing and then began the workshop “Management and Educational Use of ICT” by Claudia Toledo Robles, pedagogical coordinator, and Eva Toro Morán, Linkage coordinator with the CIE Environment. This workshop focused on reflection on the instruments used to manage the use of ICT that support learning and the development of digital skills. 

Then, a forum-panel “Computer Coordination Experiences” was held where coordinating teachers from the Bernarda Morín and Elqui schools, and the Salesiana San Ramón Industrial School, presented.

At the end of the day, the creation of a social network was carried out by Professor Luis Segovia, from the Salesianos San Ramón Industrial School. This website is intended for teachers, technicians, UTP heads and Links coordinators to inform, share and participate around the role of ICT in educational establishments in the commune of La Serena.

On the occasion, 40 computer coordinators from municipal and subsidized establishments of the commune met.
