More than 300 enrolled in free online digital marketing course for SMEs

In just a couple of days, the open course that will begin on July 12, has attracted a significant number of SMEs and entrepreneurs, who see in this instance a relevant opportunity in the search for new marketing channels.

Great interest has been aroused in the community, and especially in SMEs and entrepreneurs, by the free online course offered by the University of La Serena through its Distance Education Office (OED), on tools for digital marketing. in social networks, which focuses on giving small and medium-sized businesses the opportunity to improve the way they offer their products online.

And just days after the registration process began, there are already more than 300 subscribers to this course, which lasts 5 weeks, a space in which topics such as the importance of Digital Marketing to develop dissemination strategies and positioning will be covered. , to the promotion of a product or service through social networks as a loyalty strategy or capture of potential customers.

For the Director of Postgraduate and Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Cristian Ibáñez, the MOOC course "was born as a practical tool aimed at micro and small entrepreneurs who want to enhance their businesses and ventures using the vast world of social networks.
