Teaching Improvement Unit begins the ULS teaching induction process

The period is focused on the teachers who join the University of La Serena with the purpose of leveling them in the use of institutional platforms such as MOODLE and PHOENIX.

The process intended to accompany undergraduate academics who join the university seeks to know and apply the guidelines for a teaching task that is consistent with the achievement of deep learning in students. To this end, the Teaching Improvement Unit has decided to accompany teachers in learning about the regulations that will guide their work, that is, the study regime regulations, educational model and the self-regulation document for curricular management. .

The ULS Teaching Induction Process began on Monday, May 18 with stage O. In it, work is being done on the management of platforms for teaching interaction, Zoom and Google Meet, through the Phoenix institutional platform. This stage ends on Friday, May 22 and includes work with a new teaching tool called "My Class" developed by the Office of Distance Education.

For interaction with the teacher, the ULS Computer Center has developed Moodle UMD, which will allow you to upload material and maintain direct contact with the teacher who joins the University of La Serena.
