In total, the workshops had the registration of 406 teachers, with the number of participations reached being 938. The instances that took place during the month of April had complementary materials such as instructions and audiovisual or written materials, still available on the website umd.userena.cl.

In this regard, Gerardo Galleguillos, in charge of the Teaching Improvement Unit, said: “we are satisfied with the participation that was generated, but this also gives us a new challenge, which is to generate a program of workshops and courses for the first semester of 2020 that is relevant to strengthen teaching skills in the context in which we are working.”

Likewise, and with the objective of providing feedback on the work carried out during the month of April, the UMD has a survey directed at the academic community that participated in the workshops and that will allow evaluating the relevance of the programming through five dimensions: structure of workshop, methodology, use of platform, profile of the presenter and dissemination of workshops.

Currently, the Teaching Improvement Unit is working on the teaching induction process for the first semester of 2020, which, although it has a focus on teachers who join our study house, on this occasion it will be open to the entire academic community. to continue reinforcing instances that perhaps were not fully developed during the month of April.
