The activity took place during the 21 and 22 sessions in November, where participants participated in discussion tables in which various topics focused on education for children during their early childhood were discussed.
With the aim of generating a dialogue space focused on the right to education of children from their first stage, in the context of the commemoration of the 30 years of the signing of the convention on the rights of children and girls, the Pedagogy in Early Childhood Education at the University of La Serena held the Open Seminar on “Education from Early Childhood on Sustainable, Political and Childhood Development”.
The activity was attended by academics and students of the career, together with education professionals, who raised various visions on the fundamental right for the educational development of boys and girls in their first stage of childhood, under the social context from the actuality.
For the Coordinator of the ULS Nursing Education Pedagogy, Dr. Desireé López de Maturana, “opening the spaces for dialogue is important within a society and as a University we must be able to deliver this type of instances, where both the community can participate and share your ideas and thoughts about the importance of education. ”
For its part, the member of CONANE Brazil, Raisa de Moura, who was invited to exhibit during the activity, thanked the realization of these types of spaces. "It is an honor to participate in this space, it is necessary to be able to discuss the education of children and their rights with different experts in the area, and it is pleasant to be able to share my experience in this area with the work we do in Brazil," he said.
