Frequently, these types of workshops are held for regular students with an exit profile from the institution.
A new cycle of training sessions was carried out by the professionals of the Office of Graduate Monitoring for students of the University of La Serena. This time it was the Pedagogy in Basic General Education, Ovalle, who participated with a total of 31 assistants, in addition to the active participation of teachers present at the Limarí Campus.
In the activity, the participants received from the therapist, Elba Andrea Soto, information on practices related to asanas, meditation, ergonomics in the workplace and breathing techniques to handle stressful situations. On the other hand, the unit's psychologist, Maximiliano Jiménez, addressed the topic of time management, as well as delving into definitions, signs and symptoms of stress.
In this regard, Jiménez, stressed that “this workshop seeks to deliver necessary tools for stress management and promote a culture of self-care in the work environment. I would like to highlight that this is the third workshop that the Graduate Tracking Office carries out during the year at the Limarí Campus. The first was labor insertion, where they were taught to prepare a CV and review everything that is the recruitment and selection process. ”
The professional added that “subsequently, there was a workshop on teamwork and work under pressure and stress management. Since the workshops are requested by the coordinators or directors of career or School, I would like to highlight the initiative of this campus and remember that we are at your disposal of all the races to carry out the workshops that we have available.
