The day allowed us to learn new processes and capabilities to interact, communicate, influence and mobilize with new tools to lead teams.

Within the framework of the FIULS 2030 Project, through the Human Capital and Change Management axis, a Leadership Coaching workshop was held. The objective of the activity was to identify actions and improve teamwork skills and resolve different situations to strengthen coexistence relationships, generating a good work environment.

The activity was attended by authorities from the university, as well as the team of FIULS 2030 professionals.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ing. Mauricio Godoy, was present at the activity and stressed the importance of teamwork and good human relations, indicating that “the workshop was very positive, we had the participation of authorities, as well as academics and professionals from the FIULS 2030 team. These activities strengthen human relationships, allow us to improve communication and see what aspects must be improved to meet the proposed objectives.”

The workshop speaker, Cristian Saavedra, managing partner of the Nueva Ruta Consulting Company and UCN professor in the area of ​​socio-emotional skills, stated that “the workshop is guided by a work methodology created in Chile called intelligent leadership, and this It allows generating processes with work teams for high efficiency, for management it develops talents and teamwork.” 

Raquel Salinas, administrator of the Technology Center of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of La Serena, stated that the initiative was positive. “I liked it a lot, it was a very good opportunity since we were made to see that we, as leaders, could often be failing and how we could improve, we learned what could be much more strengthened in the work team.”
