ULS begins the 3rd application process for the benefits granted by the retirement incentive laws

In order to provide details about the retirement incentive laws, the University of La Serena has organized Information Days for administrative and academic officials who meet the requirements to apply. The Vice-Rector for Economic and Administrative Affairs will be the one who guides potential applicants in accessing reliable and timely information.

The third application process is already underway to access the additional benefits of the law no. 20.996 (non-academic or professional staff) and the law no. 21.043 (academic, managerial and non-academic professional staff) retirement incentive.

The Vice-Rector for Economic and Administrative Affairs, Dr. Alejandra Torrejón Vergara, stated that the information and the corresponding form have already been sent to the University officials who meet the requirements to apply for this third process, whose 2019 quotas are assigned. by the Ministry of Education based on the criteria that the laws expressly indicate.

In order to provide details about these retirement incentive laws, the University has organized Information Days that will take place on the day Thursday April 11 in the morning in the Alejandro Covarrubias Room from the Central House. The first presentation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for non-academic or professional staff, and from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for academic, managerial and non-academic professional staff.

The Conference will have as speakers the Comptroller of the ULS, Enrique Acevedo, and the lawyer of the Legal Department, Julio Landaeta.
